the Final Draft
The final draft includes
both the corrected preliminary draft information and any submissions
entered by the department.
Please check the draft bibliography for typos, missing special
characters, missing publications, and any other missing or incorrect
bibliographic information.
If more than one department author was involved in a publication,
please make sure that the article is listed under the names of each
department member.
Please note that the following materials have been removed from
departmental submissions:
- Duplicate publications
from previous years' bibliographies. If the item was listed in error
for a previous year, it will be removed from the old bibliography and
will be listed for the current academic year
- Materials submitted as
"in press" or "accepted" (these materials should be submitted for the
year in which they are actually published)
- Unpublished conference
proceedings and/or presentations
Additional Lists
There may be links on your final draft page to additional pages. These
pages could include:
Searchable
List
- These items do not be listed in your main
bibliography page but will
be available through the Searchable
Bibliography.
They include
abstracts, reviews, letters, and newspaper articles. Please review
these items as you would the final draft.
Other
Years
- These items are not for the
current academic year and will be added to the correct listings.
Corrections
- These items include a bold
comment at the end of the line. Please print the list, correct the
citation and send the list to me through campus mail. If items are not
corrected, they will be left out of the bibliography.
Department Authors
For departments that have not done
so already. Check the spelling and initials used for the department
author heading for accuracy.
- Authors may have been
incorrectly identified under your unit list. This is a particular
issue with cross-appointed and adjunct faculty.
- Please remember that staff
are also included in Leaders in Learning.
- Post-doctoral students and
students with full-time permanent jobs in the department may be
included but other students should not be included.
Adding
New Publications
Before adding new
publications, please ensure that they were published between July 2004
- June 2005 and that they have not been listed in previous
bibliographies. For more information about criteria for submissions and
how to add new entries, please see Data Entry.
Changing Publication Listings
- If errors appear in the
publication listing, please send an email to leadersinlearning@uwo.ca
referencing the entries and department name and explaining the changes
required.
- If a department author is not
given
credit for an article that is listed under the name of another author,
send an email
requesting that the article be added to the author's list (you do not
need to re-submit the article).
- If an item has been missed,
please follow the instructions on the Data
Entry page.
Deadlines
Departments will be receiving their Final Draft Bibliography at
different times. The deadline for corrections and additions will be
provided when you receive the link to your draft page. If you are
unable to meet the deadline, please contact me. If no changes are
forwarded and I am not contacted by the deadline, the bibliography will
be assumed to be correct and will be published "as is".
