Sabine Bitter and Helmut Weber Vancouver and Vienna-based artists Sabine Bitter and Helmut Weber have worked collaboratively on projects that represent architecture, urban landscapes and public space. The relationship of architecture and urban change with the social processes and economic forces that shape the city informs their photographic, videos and public works. Their work has been shown widely internationally from the Museum of Modern Art in Vienna to the Charles H. Scott Gallery, Vancouver and others: Tokyo Wonder Site; Heidelberger Kunstverein; NGBK/Künstlerhau Bethanien, Berlin; Škuc Gallery, Ljublijana, Slovenija; Art Gallery of Windsor; Biennale de la photographie, Sedan, France; Museum De Paviljoens, Almere, Netherlands; and Austrian Cultural Forum, New York. They recently published Autogestion, or Henri Lefebvre in New Belgrade and Right, To the City.
