Science Internship Program - for students

The Science Internship Program is Western’s cooperative education opportunity for undergraduate Science/BMSc students. It allows qualified Western University Science students to work in paid, career related placements for an extended period of time, at a senior point in their academic studies. Under the Science Internship Program students work full-time for a term of 8-16 months , following the third year of study, before returning to Western to complete the final year of a 4-year undergraduate Science degree. As with a traditional co-op degree, graduation is delayed by one year while the student gains valuable work experience. For more information please see the brochure here.

Employers from the private, public or not-for-profit sectors may create internship opportunities for students in any of the departments in the Life, Mathematical and Computational, or Physical Sciences.
