What to Expect: Fall 2021
Science is pleased to be welcome students back to campus for September 2021. This year, our Departments will be offering a variety of courses in-person, on-line, and in a blended format.
Students can expect to write examinations for in-person and blended courses in-person and on campus. Only those courses offered exclusively on-line will be able to facilitate on-line examinations.
If you are a student with a medical condition that prevents you from studying in-person, and you are not able to access your required courses on-line, please check in with Accessible Education to discuss next steps.
Our hope is to welcome international students to campus, in-person. We recognize that COVID-19 restrictions may prevent some of you from joining us in-person for various reasons.
If you are arriving after the add deadline (Thursday, September 16) please get in touch with Science Academic Counselling to discuss options – your reasons will need to be verified through Western International.
Please visit Western’s Timetable for Fall/Winter 2021-2022 to search for courses offered exclusively on-line. When you visit this site, please set the Course Delivery Type filter to Distance Studies/On-Line.
We are here to help! Our Departmental Advisors can assist you with questions about on-line courses and access. Please see our Advising Services page for their contact information:
Other inquires should be submitted through our Science Academic Counselling Help Portal.
Please direct any questions you might have about student VISA’s/study permits to the International & Exchange Student Centre.
Academic Counselling will be offering in-person, video, and phone appointments starting September 2021. Our office is 100% paperless, so any requests that involve “paperwork” must go through our Help Portal for review. Please do not bring paper into the office. Looking forward to seeing you again!
