This program addresses the need to effectively utilize existing open neuroscience data in Canada and the increasing demand for professionals in the artificial intelligence and machine learning space by training scholars with advanced analytical skills and hands-on experience, leveraging and linking the infrastructure, resources, and expertise of research and industry partners across Canada. The proposed research project should be a novel project or novel collaboration, i.e. not a
continuation of an existing project and be directly related to the field of neuroscience. |

Application Details: |
Application to this funding opportunity follows a two-stage process:
1. Notice of Intent (NOI), submitted via the Online Notice of Intent Submission and used for
eligibility screening purposes.
2. Full Application, to be submitted through the online Full Application submission. A personalized
link will be sent to the Applicant once the NOI has been screened and approved.

NOTE: All research-related grant applications, letters of intent, contracts and agreements requiring an institutional or organizational signature must submit related documents to the Office of Research Services for review and approval. Requests for institutional signature should be received a minimum of five to ten business days before the
posted Sponsor deadline. Please see Western Research's website regarding the institutional signatory process for more details. Specific opportunities may have their own timelines and requirements for submissions. A ROLA Proposal submitted by the PI and bearing department and faculty approvals is required. |
