Description: |
The Global Partnerships for Research & Innovation arm of Canadian Hearing Services (CHS) is proud to announce the launch of our inaugural call for proposals for the two-year funding period (2022-24) Successful applications can request up to $50,000 per year for each of the two years. We seek projects that are relevant and significantly impactful in breaking down barriers to participation for Deaf and hard of hearing individuals and their families.
Our Research Areas of Focus includes Hearing Health, Hearing Science, Deaf Studies and Quality of Life.

Application Details: |
Applications are a two-step process, including a Letter of Intent (LOI) and a Full Application (FA). LOIs will be reviewed for alignment to our Areas of Focus and potential for impact to the Deaf and hard of hearing communities. Only approved LOIs will be invited to the Full Application stage. Successful letters of intent will be able to submit a full application.
The sponsor application will be completed on their website.

NOTE: All research-related grant applications, letters of intent, contracts and agreements requiring an institutional or organizational signature must submit related documents to the Office of Research Services for review and approval. Requests for institutional signature should be received a minimum of five to ten business days before the
posted Sponsor deadline. Please see Western Research's website regarding the institutional signatory process for more details. Specific opportunities may have their own timelines and requirements for submissions. A ROLA Proposal submitted by the PI and bearing department and faculty approvals is required. |
