Brain Canada is pleased to be partnering with Bell Let's Talk to launch the Bell Let's Talk-Brain Canada Mental Health Research Program, a new funding opportunity to support novel and transformative research that will accelerate the integration of emerging scientific knowledge into developing and improving mental health care. The ultimate goal is the development of innovative solutions to ensure effective, sustainable, and accessible mental health care for all Canadians. EDI, Knowledge Translation and Impact are key components to this program.

Application Details: |
The funding opportunity is open to teams of two or more independent investigators from different
institutions, or distinct research groups within the same institution. Teams must include at least one
member with expertise in integrated Knowledge Translation. Depending on the nature of the research
project, teams should include one or more of the following as collaborators: People with Lived Experience
(PWLE), carers, allied-health workers, and/or health administrators. This program will involve two stages: Letter of Intent and Invited Full Application.
The Letter of Intent (LOI) and Full Application (FA) must be submitted using Brain Canada's electronic
grant management system SmartSimple

NOTE: All Letters of Intent and Full Applications must be processed through Research Development & Services for institutional approval. Requests for Institutional approvals should be received no less than 3 days prior to the posted Sponsor deadline. A ROLA Proposal (bearing applicant, Chair and Dean electronic approvals) is required for each submission. |
