Description: |
The vision of the Grain Farmers of Ontario is to drive the Ontario grain industry to become a global leader. Projects that are eligible for funding by GFO will have the potential to enhance our farmer memberss' return. Proposals will be selected for funding based on the benefit the results may provide to farmers, the scientific merit, and the degree to which they meet the GFO research priority areas. |

Application Details: |
GFO will primarily support research projects conducted through recognized public research institutions (i.e. Government Research Stations; Canadian Universities / Colleges). GFO can support research conducted through private companies/individuals, if significant collaboration/partnering with public research institutions is demonstrated. Applicants must electronically submit the provided template for their LOI. Please send completed LOIs to pbarnard@gfo.ca.
Those applicants who were successful in the letter of intent phase will be invited to submit a full application.

NOTE: All research-related grant applications, letters of intent, contracts and agreements requiring an institutional or organizational signature must submit related documents to the Office of Research Services for review and approval. Requests for institutional signature should be received a minimum of five to ten business days before the
posted Sponsor deadline. Please see Western Research's website regarding the institutional signatory process for more details. Specific opportunities may have their own timelines and requirements for submissions. A ROLA Proposal submitted by the PI and bearing department and faculty approvals is required. |
