Description: |
The AFTD postdoctoral fellowship program provides funding for the next generation of FTD researchers. By supporting talented young investigators during this critical phase of their scientific training, AFTD aims to inspire a long-standing commitment to FTD research. Funding is primarily to support Postdoctoral stipend + benefits. Any remaining funds may be applied to:
Travel to relevant scientific meetings; Research expenses (direct costs only); Publication costs |

Application Details: |
Applicants must have a PhD, MD, or MD-PhD degree and be engaged in postdoctoral research at an academic institution, teaching hospital, or nonprofit research institute. Following confirmation of eligibility, relevance of the proposed project to FTD, and appropriate faculty supervision, applicants will be invited to submit a full application by Friday, January 25, 2019, 5:00 pm EST.INDIRECT COSTS ARE NOT ELIGIBLE |

NOTE: All Letters of Intent and Full Applications must be processed through Research Development & Services for institutional approval. Requests for Institutional approvals should be received no less than 3 days prior to the posted Sponsor deadline. A ROLA Proposal (bearing applicant, Chair and Dean electronic approvals) is required for each submission. |
