Description:

The Treat FTD Fund is a joint effort by the Alzheimer's Drug Discovery Foundation (ADDF) and the Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration (AFTD) to support clinical development of novel or repurposed drugs for FTD disorders. Running clinical trials in FTD patients will enable investigators to identify optimal approaches to targeting this unique patient population. In addition, trials supported by the Treat FTD Fund will complement efforts such as the FTD Biomarkers Initiative and the Accelerating Drug Discovery for FTD program by employing emergent advances in biomarker development and preclinical research.

Application Details:

Your application will be submitted through the ADDF Funding Portal. The submission process involves two steps: Letter of Intent, and invited full application.

ADDF FUNDING IS NOT PROVIDED FOR INDIRECT COSTS

NOTE: All Letters of Intent and Full Applications must be processed through Research Development & Services for institutional approval. Requests for Institutional approvals should be received no less than 3 days prior to the posted Sponsor deadline. A ROLA Proposal (bearing applicant, Chair and Dean electronic approvals) is required for each submission.
