Over one million annually has been designated to support the development of new and innovative practices in health care delivery, and to support leadership in the dissemination of knowledge across the healthcare system. Complete Project Proposals should be submitted electronically to AMOSO@lhsc.on.ca using Form P1 (PDF) and Form P2 (MS Excel) no later than midnight on October 31st. All elements are required in order to be eligible for consideration. |

Application Details: |
The goal of this fund is to support the development of new and innovative practices in health care delivery (both quality initiatives and research projects), and to support leadership and the disseminations of knowledge across the healthcare system.*New in 2020-21: Currently AMOSO encourages budgets at $75k/annum with higher budgets being considered for exceptional projects. In 2020-21 a large grant category will be piloted and award 1 grant at $150k/annum ($300k over 2 years). Of note; those that apply in this category would be eligible for the $150k/annum category only, if not successful they would not be considered for funding at the lower budget category of $75k/annum.
*New in 2020-21 More than 1 Project at a Time for PIs/Co-PIs: For 2020-21 onwards a physician applicant can be awarded as a PI or Co-PI once per year only. This would then increase the number of projects that a physician can participate in to a maximum of 2 at a time. As with the current policy, applicants could submit additional proposals once a Final Report is submitted. |

NOTE: All Letters of Intent and Full Applications must be processed through Research Development & Services for institutional approval. Requests for Institutional approvals should be received no less than 3 days prior to the posted Sponsor deadline. A ROLA Proposal (bearing applicant, Chair and Dean electronic approvals) is required for each submission. |
