Ontario Pork is pleased to announce a call for proposals for swine research projects that focus on the Ontario swine industry. Those successful at the letter of intent phase are invited to submit a full proposal for consideration. |

Application Details: |
A call for proposals is sent out to Canadian agricultural researchers annually by Ontario Pork. Proposals are reviewed and selected by the Research Committee which is composed of producers and swine industry consultants. The Research Committee makes recommendations to the Ontario Pork board of directors on expenditures from the research budget. The recommendations support priorities and outcomes that are responsive and receptive to the needs of pig producers in Ontario. Researchers notified of LOI outcome the week of December 16, 2019
Full proposals will be due January 27, 2020 for those selected to submit.40% INDIRECT COSTS ARE ALLOWED BY INDUSTRY SPONSOR |

NOTE: All Letters of Intent and Full Applications must be processed through Research Development & Services for institutional approval. Requests for Institutional approvals should be received no less than 3 days prior to the posted Sponsor deadline. A ROLA Proposal (bearing applicant, Chair and Dean electronic approvals) is required for each submission. |
