Description: |
Supported by the office of the Vice-President (Research), the Social Science & Humanities Review Board (SSHRB) Open Research Grant is targeted to established researchers pursuing SSHRC-related research.
A Principal Investigator (PI) must hold an eligible academic appointment with a significant research component at Western University. Should the award recipient cease to be a faculty member of the University during the tenure of the award, the award will be cancelled and all remaining and recoverable monies returned to the common fund. All internally funded grants will be administered only at Western. |

This program is administered by the Internal Grants Coordinator in Research Development and Services under the general terms of reference outlined in the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Board (SSHRB) guidelines. |

NOTE: All Letters of Intent and Full Applications must be processed through Research Development & Services for institutional approval. Requests for Institutional approvals should be received no less than 3 days prior to the posted Sponsor deadline. A ROLA Proposal (bearing applicant, Chair and Dean electronic approvals) is required for each submission. |
