Description: |
Provides financial support to an individual mobility project presented by an experienced
researcher in liaison with a host organisation in the Member States or Associated Countries. If you are an experienced researcher interested in developing your own research project you can apply for Postdoctoral Fellowships with a host organization of your choice.
As an organisation based in an EU Member State or Horizon Europe Associated Country you can develop an application jointly with an experienced researcher for MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships funding. |
|
Application Details: |
Individual Fellowships will support the mobility of researchers within and beyond Europe - as well as helping to attract the best foreign researchers to work in the EU. The grant usually covers two years' salary, a mobility allowance, research costs and overheads for the host institution. Individual researchers submit proposals for funding in liaison with their planned host organization. Proposals are judged on their research quality, the researcher's future career prospects, and the support offered by the host organization. Fellows can also spend part of the fellowship elsewhere in Europe if this would boost impact, and those restarting their career in Europe benefit from special eligibility conditions. All relevant documents are available for each call on the Funding and Tender Opportunities Portal
INDIRECT COSTS ARE NOT COVERED |
NOTE: All research-related grant applications, letters of intent, contracts and agreements requiring an institutional or organizational signature must submit related documents to the Office of Research Services for review and approval. Requests for institutional signature should be received a minimum of five to ten business days before the
posted Sponsor deadline. Please see Western Research's website regarding the institutional signatory process for more details. Specific opportunities may have their own timelines and requirements for submissions. A ROLA Proposal submitted by the PI and bearing department and faculty approvals is required. |
