Description: |
We're committed to providing exceptional programs and services to the people and businesses of Ontario. The objective of the WSIB Grants Program is to enhance workers' compensation system outcomes by supporting innovative proposals that are aligned to our strategic mandate. The program accomplishes this through highly practical, expert research studies and training initiatives delivered by professional individuals and organizations that address current and emerging challenges, and strengthen Ontario's workers' compensation system now and in the future. The central focus of the WSIB Grants Program is return to work and recovery and proposals will be accepted where results will lead to policy, program and practice improvements as well as systematic reviews. |
|
Application Details: |
Grant proposals fall into two major categories: research grants and training grants. Both proposal types must be highly practical, delivered by leading experts and demonstrate significant potential to improve outcomes for workers, employers or the broader compensation system. Register your profile in our new grant management system and apply to the 2025 grants competition. Carefully review the instructions under the WSIB Annual Grants Competition program and provide comprehensive answers to the tasks and application questions.
INDIRECT COSTS ARE NOT ELIGIBLE |
NOTE: All research-related grant applications, letters of intent, contracts and agreements requiring an institutional or organizational signature must submit related documents to the Office of Research Services for review and approval. Requests for institutional signature should be received a minimum of five to ten business days before the
posted Sponsor deadline. Please see Western Research's website regarding the institutional signatory process for more details. Specific opportunities may have their own timelines and requirements for submissions. A ROLA Proposal submitted by the PI and bearing department and faculty approvals is required. |
