Description: |
The Schulich Postdoctoral Fellowship program will provide support for postdoctoral scholars pursuing fundamental and translational medical research. Funded by generous donors, this competitive program provides access to world-class facilities, interdisciplinary collaborations, and expert mentorship. The 2025 program supports three research themes, each established through generous philanthropic donations. Future expansion of themes may be possible with additional donor support:
- Pain - Two fellowships available; research must focus on pain.
- Neuroscience - Two fellowships available; research must be in neuroscience.
- Cardiovascular Imaging - One fellowship available; research must focus on cardiovascular imaging. |

Application Details: |
Schulich will contribute up to $50,000/year and the supervisor will provide the remainder. Please submit completed application packages, excluding the assessments of candidates which should be provided directly to research@schulich.uwo.ca, to the application portal.

NOTE: All research-related grant applications, letters of intent, contracts and agreements requiring an institutional or organizational signature must submit related documents to the Office of Research Services for review and approval. Requests for institutional signature should be received a minimum of five to ten business days before the
posted Sponsor deadline. Please see Western Research's website regarding the institutional signatory process for more details. Specific opportunities may have their own timelines and requirements for submissions. A ROLA Proposal submitted by the PI and bearing department and faculty approvals is required. |
