Description: |
The purpose of the National Women's Health Research Initiative joint initiative between CIHR and Women and Gender Equality Canada is to advance a coordinated research program that addresses under-researched and high-priority areas of women's health and to ensure new evidence improves women's, girls' and gender-diverse people's care and health outcomes. The current funding opportunity is accepting applications for the hubs. A future funding opportunity, which is anticipated to be launched in Fall 2023, will be accepting applications for the coordinating centre. Applying for hubs funding does not preclude applying for the coordinating centre funding. |

Application Details: |
The Pan-Canadian Women's Health Coalition will be composed of virtual hubs across Canada linked through an overarching coordinating centre. Applications for the hubs and the coordinating centre will occur over two separate funding opportunities.Please review the guidelines carefully to ensure all conditions for funding are met. |

NOTE: All Letters of Intent and Full Applications must be processed through Research Development & Services for institutional approval. Requests for Institutional approvals should be received no less than 3 days prior to the posted Sponsor deadline. A ROLA Proposal (bearing applicant, Chair and Dean electronic approvals) is required for each submission. |
