Description: |
The Joint Canada-Israel Health Research Program (the Program) is a collaboration of the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, the International Development Research Centre, the Israel Science Foundation and the Azrieli Foundation, and seeks to support fundamental research at the cutting-edge of biomedical science. IDRC will administer the grant to the Canadian PA's institution. The maximum amount per project that can be requested by the Canadian PA from IDRC is up to CAD $670,000 over 3 years |

Application Details: |
Each team must include only two Principal Investigators (PIs), one in Canada and one in Israel. IDRC will administer the grant to the Canadian PI's institution. ISF will administer the grant to the Israeli PI's institution. The Canadian and Israeli PIs will submit one joint application via the CIHR ResearchNet system. All project participants must register for: a ResearchNet account, a CIHR PIN, and a Canadian Common CV account.

NOTE: All Letters of Intent and Full Applications must be processed through Research Development & Services for institutional approval. Requests for Institutional approvals should be received no less than 3 days prior to the posted Sponsor deadline.
