Description: |
The CIHR Catalyst Grant program provides seed money, on a short-term basis, to support health research activities which represent a first step towards the pursuit of more comprehensive funding opportunities. Research on vaping will be directly relevant for healthcare workers, policymakers, parents, teachers, and youth, and help to develop the evidence base upon which to build future policies and regulations related to vaping. As a result, CIHR and its Institutes of Circulatory and Respiratory Health; Cancer Research; Human Development, Child and Youth Health; and Neurosciences, Mental Health and Addiction, are launching a one-year catalyst grant opportunity to provide funding for research aimed at further understanding the health effects of vaping.
