The Law Commission of Canada (LCC) is committed to fostering partnerships with and supporting
cooperative efforts among the academic community, the legal profession, and other organizations
interested in law and justice.
The Commission invites proposals for financial support for conferences, seminars, workshops and other events or gatherings that fall within its
mission of engaging the people of Canada in the ongoing and dynamic evolution of law. |

Application Details: |
Funding proposals should be submitted by email to projects-projets@lcc-cdc.gc.ca before 20 June
2025. If the proposal is accepted, a meeting between the proponent?s primary contact person
and the LCC may be held within two weeks of the LCC?s acceptance to discuss the event and the
agency?s support.

NOTE: All research-related grant applications, letters of intent, contracts and agreements requiring an institutional or organizational signature must submit related documents to the Office of Research Services for review and approval. Requests for institutional signature should be received a minimum of five to ten business days before the
posted Sponsor deadline. Please see Western Research's website regarding the institutional signatory process for more details. Specific opportunities may have their own timelines and requirements for submissions. A ROLA Proposal submitted by the PI and bearing department and faculty approvals is required. |
