Description:

The ACCC is seeking proposals from post-secondary educational institutes willing to analyze and showcase existing innovative practices related to student retention and success in Allied Health Programs.

Innovative practices will be sought according to the following broad (or cross-cutting) themes: Partnerships with employers; Inter-professional education and transferable credits; Recruitment, Admissions & student selection; Student support programs/retention; Faculty development. Innovations must have some success measures or outcomes.

Application Details:

Proposals selected for inclusion in the Innovations Guide may receive up to $20,000 and will work with a Research and Evaluation Specialist to conduct a standardized, in-depth analysis of the innovation strategy.

The Innovations Guide will feature a minimum of six innovative practices developed to address specific challenges in student retention and success in allied health science programs, in particular, in the disciplines of medical laboratory science, diagnostic sonography, occupational therapy, respiratory therapy and medical radiation technology. Proposals must be submitted electronically by the deadline date. Please see submission criteria in the RFP.

INDIRECT COSTS POLICY HAS NOT YET BEEN DETERMINED

NOTE: Letters of Intent and Full Applications are to be processed through Research Development Services for institutional signatures, and are to be accompanied by a completed RDAF form (bearing applicant, Chair and Dean signatures). Requests for Institutional signatures should be received no less than 3 days prior to the posted Sponsor deadline.
