Description:

The Canadian Space Agency (CSA) is interested in human spaceflight and maintaining a healthy and highly qualified Canadian astronaut corps capable of participating in space exploration missions. Also, in line with the vision and priorities of the new Space Strategy for Canada, the CSA aims to enable scientific opportunities and global partnerships, and to harness space to solve everyday challenges for Canadians.

Application Details:

Projects selected from this CSA competition will have as their objective to increase scientific knowledge that will contribute to the efforts toward the understanding, mitigation or elimination of health risks associated with human space exploration and generate scientific insights that will also contribute to applications on Earth.

Applications must be mailed to the CSA at the following address: CSA Announcement of Opportunity for Human Analog Studies c/o Isabelle Marcil Astronauts, Life Sciences and Space Medicine Canadian Space Agency 6767 Route de l'A?roport Saint-Hubert, Quebec J3Y 8Y9 Proposals must be received at the CSA no later than 2 p.m.(ET), Friday, September 27, 2019. Applications sent by email will not be accepted. Incomplete applications may not be considered.

20% INDIRECT COSTS ARE TO BE INCLUDED IN YOUR BUDGET

NOTE: All Letters of Intent and Full Applications must be processed through Research Development & Services for institutional approval. Requests for Institutional approvals should be received no less than 3 days prior to the posted Sponsor deadline. A ROLA Proposal (bearing applicant, Chair and Dean electronic approvals) is required for each submission.
