Description: |
The primary purpose of the program is to encourage policy- and program-relevant applied research on road user behavior and human factors surrounding road user safety. The secondary purposes of this program is to facilitate the transfer of knowledge, skills, and methodologies from another discipline to road user safety research, and to foster collaborative working relationships between MTO and researchers in the academic and broader public sector community. |

Application Details: |
Complete the 2024 RSRPP Application Form that was enclosed with the Call for Proposals email from MTO. Note: if you require a copy of the application form, please send your request to RSRPP@ontario.ca.
Submit your completed application form to RSRPP@ontario.ca with any supplementary documents (e.g., curricula vitae) by February 29, 2024. You will receive an email confirming your submission within two to three business days.
15% IDC MUST BE INCLUDED IN YOUR BUDGET |

NOTE: All research-related grant applications, letters of intent, contracts and agreements requiring an institutional or organizational signature must submit related documents to the Office of Research Services for review and approval. Requests for institutional signature should be received a minimum of five to ten business days before the
posted Sponsor deadline. Please see Western Research's website regarding the institutional signatory process for more details. Specific opportunities may have their own timelines and requirements for submissions. A ROLA Proposal submitted by the PI and bearing department and faculty approvals is required. |
