Description: |
The pilot grant program awards seed funding that allows researchers to develop and test new and innovative research questions and pursue pioneering approaches that have the potential to impact the MS field in topics related to Clinical and Population Health (CPH). Your research project should test novel, high-risk ideas or interventions that have not been examined in MS or examined to a limited extent.

Application Details: |
To be eligible to apply for a Pilot Grant you must have an academic or research appointment which allows you to engage in independent research at a Canadian Institution. You must maintain this appointment through the duration of your funding, and be able to supervise trainees and publish your research activities. The MS Society of Canada (MSSC) uses an online research grants and awards management system that enables researchers to submit, and review applications on the Web. NOTE: All Letters of Intent and Full Applications must be processed through Research Development & Services for institutional approval. Requests for Institutional approvals should be received no less than 3 days prior to the posted Sponsor deadline. A ROLA Proposal (bearing applicant, Chair and Dean electronic approvals) is required for each submission. |
