Often characterized as "midcareer" awards, Guggenheim Fellowships are intended for men and women who have already demonstrated exceptional capacity for productive scholarship or exceptional creative ability in the arts. Financial considerations do not play a part in our evaluations, and applicants should not include a budget in the statement of plans. When candidates are selected as Fellows, they are then asked to submit budget information for their projects |
