Description: |
The Smart Renewables and Electrification Pathways Program (SREPs) provides up to $964 million over four years for smart renewable energy and electrical grid modernization projects. This program will significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions by encouraging the replacement of fossil-fuel generated electricity with renewables that can provide essential grid services while supporting Canada?s equitable transition to an electrified economy. Application Details: |
Proponents can download a Project Registration Form (PDF, 214 kb) and submit it via email to nrcan.sreps-erite.rncan@canada.ca. Following submission of a Registration Form (PDF, 214 kb), program staff will send eligible projects a Project Application Form. Following program review of the completed Project Application Form, a funding decision will be sent to the Applicant. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.OVERHEAD OF 15% OF TOTAL DIRECT COSTS IS TO BE INCLUDED |
NOTE: All Letters of Intent and Full Applications must be processed through Research Development & Services for institutional approval. Requests for Institutional approvals should be received no less than 3 days prior to the posted Sponsor deadline. A ROLA Proposal (bearing applicant, Chair and Dean electronic approvals) is required for each submission. |
