Description: |
The Trans-Atlantic Platform is a collaboration between humanities and social science research funders from South America, North America, and Europe. The Platform is open to welcoming new partners.
The Trans-Atlantic Platform aims to enhance the ability of funders, research organizations and researchers to engage in transnational dialogue and collaboration. It works to identify common challenges and promote a culture of collaboration in social science and humanities research. It facilitates the formation of networks within the social sciences and humanities and enables all participants to connect with other disciplines. The Trans-Atlantic Platform also strives to heighten awareness of the role the social sciences and humanities play in addressing 21st century challenges. The Trans-Atlantic Platform has launched its 2018 Social Innovation Call for Proposals, which will support international projects that can contribute to increasing our understanding of societal transformations and the role of social innovation.
Research partners will receive funding from the national funding agency from their country of origin for projects that can last up to 36 months. |

Application Details: |
Applications must be received by 14 February 2019, 2PM CET and must be submitted via the TAP website into the online submission system ISAAC, hosted by the Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO). It is the responsibility of the research team to confirm all requirements for each country and funding organisation from which it is requesting funds as specified in the funding organisations? Addenda to the Call for Proposals. |

NOTE: All Letters of Intent and Full Applications must be processed through Research Development & Services for institutional approval. Requests for Institutional approvals should be received no less than 3 days prior to the posted Sponsor deadline. A ROLA Proposal (bearing applicant, Chair and Dean electronic approvals) is required for each submission. |
