Description: |
Knowledge Synthesis Grants support researchers in producing knowledge synthesis reports and evidence briefs that: support the use of evidence in decision-making and the application of best practices; and
assist in developing future research agendas. SSHRC is pleased to launch a Knowledge Synthesis Grants competition to mobilize, examine and synthesize social sciences and humanities research on Envisioning Governance Systems that Work.

Application Details: |
Applicants must address the following three objectives of the funding opportunity in their proposals:
State of Knowledge, Strengths and Gaps; Research Data; Knowledge MobilizationApplicants must complete the application form in accordance with accompanying instructions. Applications must be submitted electronically by an authorized research grants officer, or equivalent, from the applicant?s institution.

NOTE: All research-related grant applications, letters of intent, contracts and agreements requiring an institutional or organizational signature must submit related documents to the Office of Research Services for review and approval. Requests for institutional signature should be received a minimum of five to ten business days before the
posted Sponsor deadline. Please see Western Research's website regarding the institutional signatory process for more details. Specific opportunities may have their own timelines and requirements for submissions. A ROLA Proposal submitted by the PI and bearing department and faculty approvals is required. |
