Campus Police to instruct R.A.D. courses this spring.
Commencing this February, Campus Police will be instructing 4 R.A.D. courses. RAD is a program of realistic, self-defence tactics and techniques. It is a comprehensive course for women that begins with awareness, prevention, risk reduction and avoidance. The 12 hour course then progresses to the basics of hands-on defence training. Campus Police uses certified instructors to teach the course. Dates and times for upcoming courses are:
Course #1 February 23, 5pm to 9pm. February 24, 5pm to 9pm. February 25, 5pm to 9pm
Course #2 March 23, 9am to 3pm. March 24, 9am to 3pm
Course #3 April 20, 5pm to 9pm. April 21, 5pm to 9pm. April 22, 5pm to 9pm
Course #4 May 25, 5pm to 9pm. May 26, 5pm to 9pm. May 27, 5pm to 9pm.
