In this 2-hour workshop, participants will gain concrete strategies to interact effectively in intercultural teams within both academic and non-academic settings. Through an interactive learning experience, participants will analyze and practice the skills needed to work well in a diverse team.
Intercultural Conflict Resolution
Giving and Receiving Feedback Across Cultures
The ability to communicate in diverse, intercultural settings is an essential skill in graduate school and the workplace. Join us in this workshop to explore the role culture plays in our daily interpersonal interactions with our supervisors, instructors, students, and peers. Through case studies, we will explore and practice strategies to give and receive constructive feedback in ways that reduce the risk of miscommunication and strengthen our professional relationships.
