Together, Western University and the Affiliates form a community of approximately 35,000 students. With such a large group of people, there are certain behavioral expectations required to ensure that the University runs smoothly and that Western’s reputation is maintained.
The Ombudsperson provides the "I’ve been Accused of Violating the University’s Code of Student Conduct – Now What?" guide that outlines the Codes of Conduct at Western and the Affiliates, and offers advice on how to appeal if you have been accused of violating one of the codes or believe the sanction is unduly severe. Once you’ve been through the Guide, feel free to contact the Ombudsperson if you have any questions or would like us review an appeal.
Students should also look through the Student Experience conduct page. This page contains information on the Code of Conduct process, a reporting tool, and conduct contacts for the Affiliated University Colleges.
