Professor Runbin Wang has arrived to take up a one-year visiting professorship in collaboration with the International Centre for Olympic Studies and professor emeritus Robert K. Barney. Runbin Wang is a full professor in the Sport Science School at Fujian Normal University in Fujian, Fouzhou, China.
Professor Wang's research interests include philosophy, ethics and the Olympics; international policy and the Olympic movement; and the ancient Olympics. In addition to authoring several books as well as journal articles on Olympic issues, he has served as translator of writings by John Bale and Mette Krogh, among others. Professor Wang is also a frequent conference participant and presenter.
