Earle F. Zeigler, first Dean of the then Faculty of Physical Education at Western University, has passed away at the age of 99. Earle's was a formative influence on both the fields of sport management and sport philosophy.
An International Academic Lecture in his name initially established by the Faculty of Physical Education, has been maitained by the International Centre for Olympic Studies since 1998. - A more detailed overview of Earle's work and life can be found here.
