Welcome to the Clinical Instructor Resources for Nursing Website

This online educational program is designed to help you prepare for your position as a nursing clinical instructor, or to enhance your abilities as a clinical instructor. The three modules on this site were developed and tested in a research project entitled: Development of Human Resources in Nursing Academe , funded by the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care. The project is now complete, and the modules are now available for public use.

Please enjoy the three online modules about the Roles and Responsibilities of the Clinical Instructor, Clinical Teaching, and Clinical Evaluation. Each module takes approximately 30 minutes to complete and is full of information and resources which can assist you in preparing for, and engaging in the role of the clinical instructor. At the end of each module is a Certificate of Participation which you can print and add to your professional practice profile.
