Staff and Faculty

group of students on Vindolanda field school trip

Whether you are planning your own international learning experience for the first time, facilitating an existing international learning experience or want specific information on funding opportunities, there is a lot to take into consideration. There are a range of resources and supports available on campus, so we encourage you to take full advantage of these services. Western faculty and staff play a very significant role in the success of these experiences for our students.

Go through our detailed guide on creating a program. You will find information and instructions at each stage of a faculty-led experience, including: planning, implementing, preparing to depart, on location and returning. Topics include program development, finance, recruitment and promotions, application and selection, pre-departure, safety planning and mitigation, course logistics, program evaluation and post experience.

If you are looking for specific information on funding opportunities, you will also find this within this faculty and staff section.

We invite you to contact our office with any questions or to discuss plans and supports.
