Social distancing doesn’t have to mean social disconnection! While it's important and necessary for us to remain physically separated for a while, IESC staff have come up with a few creative ways to keep our #GlobalWesternU family connected during this difficult time –WE MISS YOU and can’t wait to see you SOON! Please note that while each day has a theme, IESC staff will be hosting every virtual event and will be available to provide support and connect you to any resources you may need.

Get comfortable, grab a coffee, and join us for a casual online meet up to start off the week! Tell us about your weekend, ask questions, or just show us your favourite mug- anything goes! Do you know what else Mondays are good for? Music! Join us to share your favourite songs and we’ll add them to our evergrowing Spotify Playlist- you'll have hours of endless music to listen to- all expertly curated by your friends!

Have your culinary skills improved since being stuck at home or are you staring in your fridge wondering what to make every day? Whether you have an amazing recipe to share or want to connect with others for inspiration- this will be a great opportunity to talk about everyone’s favourite topic- FOOD!

Join us on Tuesdays to share your tips, tools, and tricks for staying connected online! What apps are you using right now? Are you playing online games or watching an amazing show? Maybe you’ve mastered useful tools to stay focused with online classes.... whatever it is- let's talk about it!

We may not be able to meet in person or partake in a real game of table tennis for now, but Global Café WILL GO ON! Join us every Thursday for a virtual Global Café Game Day! Games will vary but laughs are guaranteed!

Each weekend, IESC staff will post a Weekend Wellness Challenge on our Facebook page to encourage you to take some time to care of your body and mind over the weekend! Can you do a wall-sit while taking a phone call? Have you tried a guided meditation or colouring to de-stress? Can Bailoterapia change your mood? Once you’ve completed the challenge- post a photo to our Facebook Page for your chance to win a prize!
