Fri. Feb. 23, 2 Tours: 9:00am and 10:00am (approx 45 minutes)
Guided by: Barbara Sinclair, Lecturer and Coordinator, Simulated Clinical Education
If you’ve missed this one in the past, now is the time to meet Carl and the rest of his “SimMan’s Family” who reside in the newly constructed Simulation Suite located in the beautiful new FIMS/Nursing building. The mannequins exhibit programmable symptoms for students to detect and treat.
You will also have the opportunity to tour the new nurse practitioner simulated clinic space and learn how undergraduate students use that facility to engage in mental health simulations.
The suite incorporates a simulated hospital ward with 16 beds. Join us on a tour of the Suite, and have a chat with Carl about "how he's feeling today.”
Meeting Location: atrium outside of the simulation suite FNB1325
