Research In Profile

Professor Folarin Babatunde is a physical therapist, teacher and researcher. As an Assistant Professor in the School of Physical Therapy at Western University, his teaching duties are in the areas of clinical education, physical therapy in rehab and community settings, physical therapy in clinics – upper quadrant and empowering person-centered health, wellness and mobility. His clinical research projects address clinical questions related to reducing pain and disability with digital health solutions targeting psychosocial issues in MSK health. Currently, Professor Babatunde is the International Clinical Placement Lead and Evidence Informed Teaching and Knowledge Translation lead at the School of Physical Therapy at Western. His vast clinical experience in physical therapy includes working across multiple specialties including Neuro Rehab, ABI, MSK health, Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, Trauma, Burns, Amputee rehab in Canada, across private, public and community settings in Canada, UK, and Nigeria. Professor Babatunde, also provides high quality continuous professional development sessions through CIPHER, Cogent Institute for Physical Health Education and Research.
