Master of Nursing (ANP) Curriculum and Requirements

MN-ANP Curriculum

To meet the academic objectives of the MN-ANP program, students are required to complete nine courses.

Practicum Site Requirements

Students taking courses (N9615, N9664, N9693) that involve research/practicum at off-campus sites should be aware that they may be required to complete site-specific requirements prior to beginning their practicum. These requirements may include proof of immunization, police record check with vulnerable sector screening, mask fit testing, orientation, etc. Students will work with the School of Nursing’s Placement Coordinator, Requirements & Information to ensure that all requirements are met prior to beginning the practicum.

  • One field elective from:
    • Nursing 9674 - Theoretical Foundations of Nursing in Education
    • Nursing 9676 - Leadership in Nursing and Health Services
    • Nursing 9678 - Theoretical Foundations of Health Promotion in Nursing

Winter Term

  • Nursing 9662 - Post-Positivist Research Methodology
  • Nursing 9663 - Interpretive and Critical Research Methodologies
  • Elective of student’s choice (two electives must be taken in program)

Summer Term

  • Nursing 9664 - Research Practicum
