SUMMARY

Pediatric stridor is a common occurrence and can be very distressing to parents. It is important to have an approach to determining the cause of the stridor based on a detailed history (age of onset, acuity, associated symptoms, and past medical history), physical, and FNP. Laryngomalacia is the most common cause of neonatal stridor and usually does not require any surgical intervention.
