Appropriate medical management includes appropriate antibiotic therapy, a possible trial of inhaled steroids, a nasal lavage, and an allergy assessment to rule out allergic rhinitis. |
It is also appropriate to refer to a specialist if you are unsure of the appropriate next steps for medical management (but being the astute physician that you are, you are aware of the appropriate medical management).
The ENT surgeon will be able to decide whether surgery is an option for your patient.
