Refund/Cancellation

Withdrawals must be made by notifying Continuing Studies in writing (fax 519.661.3799 or email). Non-attendance at classes does not constitute official withdrawal.

A full refund will be given to the registrant's Educational Assistance if Continuing Studies receives a withdrawal notification a minimum of five business days prior to the start date of the course. If Continuing Studies receives a withdrawal notification fewer than five business days prior to the start date, an administrative fee of 15% will be charged. In cases where an individual does not complete a course or withdraws after the course has started, the individual will be indebted to the University for the entire cost of the course paid through Educational Assistance. An increased workload is not a sufficient reason for withdrawal from a course.

A refund of 85% of the course fee will be given when Continuing Studies at Western receives your withdrawal notification a minimum of five (5) business days prior to the start date of the course. After this time, fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
