This seven course program is designed to offer participants insight into the key areas of marketing. Develop knowledge and expertise in identifying and balancing customer needs and wants with your products and services in collaboration with the market’s supply and demand. Changes have been made to this program to allow participants more flexibility and choice with course selection.

Not all courses are offered each year. You may choose to take any number of courses without completing the entire Professional Certificate program.

Students are encouraged to contact Continuing Studies if they require assistance in mapping their program to completion due to the changes in the program requirements.


All online courses require participants to have access to the Internet. Some marketing courses may involve live virtual classes on a weekly basis.

Participants who have successfully completed Continuing Studies at Western’s Marketing course (BSMG6204) may apply for an equivalency for Principles of Marketing. Not all courses are offered each year. You may choose to take any number of courses without completing the entire Professional Certificate program.
