2022 Western Virtual Spring/Summer Camps

Western will offer a few virtual March Break camps for school-aged children. In-person March Break camps are cancelled. A decision on Western Summer Camps will be shared mid-April.

 

2021 Western Virtual Summer Camps

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, Western is offering a variety of online summer camps for school-aged children. For more information, click on each camp below.

Virtual Summer Space Explorers Program

Space Explorers and Bit-by-Bit have partnered to create a Space Science and Technology themed summer camp. The camp runs in July and August for children in Grades 4 to 8. There is also a new Virtual French Space Explorers program.

Virtual Discovery Western Summer Camp

This virtual camp runs in July and August and offers a variety of camp themes for children in SK to Grade 12. The camp is centered around engineering and science projects that are geared towards the campers' age, with camp kits delivered straight to your door!

Western Engineering Summer Academy

This virtual camp runs in July and August and offers a variety of camp themes for children in grades 9 to 12. The camp allows kids to explore different types of engineering and get a glimpse of what university life entails.

Virtual Mini-University Program

Mini University is a program for Indigenous youth. The Otter program runs from July 11 to July 16 for ages 11 to 13. The Crane program runs from August 1 to 6 for ages 14 to 17.

The Mini U team will be working with community members and campus partners to bring you various workshops from cultural teachings, mock lectures, and interactive activities.
