Professor Christina Booker wins Faculty of Science Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching
Please join us in congratulating Prof. Christina Booker on winning the 2025 Faculty of Science Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching. This award is a recognition of her exceptional contributions to first-year chemistry and to the Western Integrated Science program, her leadership in re-designing Chemistry 1301/1302 with blended and flipped classroom approaches, innovative team-based learning activities, integration of experiential demonstrations, and other highly impactful additions to the curriculum. Additionally, Christina’s mentorship of undergraduate researchers and commitment to educational scholarship, leadership in Science outreach, and role as an advocate for women in STEM were recognized.
