COVID-19 Update for Leadership Training Participants
Updated: April 27, 2020
Non-Essential Services Shut Down
In response to the declaration by the Government of Ontario requiring all non-essential services to shut down, the University will be complying with the order effective Wednesday, March 25, 2020 until further notice. During this time, essential staff will continue to work remotely. We remain committed to supporting our exercise program and leadership training course participants. We appreciate your patience as we attempt to identify the best ways to do that.
In-person leadership training
All in-person leadership training sessions will be postponed until further notice. Over the coming days and weeks the education training team will be working to develop new training modules to facilitate the delivery CCAA courses online.
Visit the Training & Payment Policies page to learn more about the CCAA's leadership training cancellation and refund policy.
Certifications and recertifications
Instructor, facilitator and trainer certifications and renewals are on hold until physical distancing requirements have been lifted by the appropriate health authorities. Once normal business operations resume, individuals will be granted a 3-month extension in order to complete certification or renewal requirements.
Questions about certification and renewal? Contact the CCAA Certification Coordinator.
The health and well-being of CCAA course participants, trainers and staff is our top priority. We are committed to doing all that we can to support the physical distancing practices recommended by health authorities at all levels of government.
