International Graduate Student Scholarship
The Brain and Mind Institute (BMI) at Western University is pleased to announce another funding opportunity that would support up to 4 international graduate students by helping to offset the differential in international (as compared to domestic) tuition and fees.

Potential applicants will need to contact one or more prospective advisors at BMI to discuss possibilities. In order to qualify, applications for study must be made to the Psychology, Neuroscience, Medical Biophysics, or another graduate program within this year.
Students from outside Canada will be eligible to apply for one of four Western International Graduate Student Awards at a maximum individual value of $15,000 per year (up to 2 years for Masters program and up to 4 years for
To apply, the nominating BMI supervisor must submit the following items by email to the IGSS Review Committee at email@example.com:
1) student name
2) graduate program applied for
3) degree level (MSc/
4) status of
5) in 1-2 paragraphs, explain why the student has been nominated
6) a pdf of the nominated student's complete application submitted to SGPS
The deadline for the first round of applications is February 15, 2019. Applications will be reviewed within the following parameters: IGSS review criteria. Offer letters will be released by late February for this initial round. Applications will continue to be accepted up to March 31, with the remaining offer letters circulated by mid-April.
