Why did you choose Arts and Humanities at Western?

I chose Arts and Humanities at Western because the studio arts programs had classes where established artists were professors. The professors also worked closely with their students to help them expand their skills in the art field.

What is one highlight of your Arts and Humanities experience so far?

Going on a practicum trip to Montreal, visiting the museums and experiencing the city together as a group.

What are your plans after graduation?

I plan on working in Madrid, Spain as an ESL teacher and traveling throughout Europe.

What advice would you give to incoming Arts and Humanities students?

Nothing is concrete; everything is fluid—things that you cannot control will change, but you will still come out with great experiences and a new way of thinking.

What is the best thing about your program/department?

The professors! They’re so helpful and genuinely great people.

[The professors] helped me expand my practice and excel at doing what I love.
