Chair - Women's Studies and Feminist Research Research My research is primarily in feminist phenomenology though my background, my teaching and writing are interdisciplinary in scope. I often write on artworks in order to think about certain questions from an embodied perspective. Thematically, I explore questions about the intersections of technology, art, embodiment, dwelling, sexuality and subjectivity. |

Works in Progress
- I'm currently completing a book tentatively entitled Cultivating Perception which crosses phenomenology, feminist theory, and art. The project draws on the philosophers, Merleau-Ponty, Heidegger and Irigaray, and considers themes of embodiment, perception and space.
