Please join us for the first speaker in the Women's Studies Speaker Series, Prof. Sara Day. Prof Day is an Assistant Professor in the Department of English and Linguistics at Truman State University. Her book, Reading Like a Girl: Narrative Intimacy in Contemporary Young Adult Literature, was published by the University Press of Mississippi in 2013. Day has also published articles on Twilight, Young Adult dystopian fiction, and Young Adult neo-Victorian fiction.

Her talk is titled  “Killing the Queen Bee: The Dead Mean Girl in Young Adult Literature.”

Many great artists have submitted & displayed their works over the years. We invite you to join their echelon & to take part in the Pride London Festival Art Show!We encourage all forms of visual arts and mediums for submission: painting, photography, sculpture, digital, collage, printmaking, pottery, etc.
